Visited The Museum

It’s actually my first time to go there since I’ve been here (I mean Palembang). It happened on Tuesday, February 22th, 2011. It’s really cool way. I went there with my pals, Intan and Masita, my college mates and we didn’t plan it yet actually. Intan just called me the night before the day, asking me if I was free then we could go to the Solaria at PIM (Palembang Indah Mall). She wanna treat us for her 22th birthday celebration which is two days before.

We went from our College at Unsri Inderalaya by buss. But, before we went to the Solaria, Masita asked us to accompany her to the Aka Gani Hospital. Her high school’s friend was there. And, let me give you info (of course for the one who don’t know) that The Museum are in front of The Hospital. And we told each other (well actually Intan and I coz Masita has ever been there so she just kept silent , heuh heuh),

“hey we never enter here, do we? We just past it all the time when we trough here and never enter the gate..”

“yeah,, why don’t we just enter and take a look for a while,,, We are free, aren’t we?”

“I ever do it guys, but it’s my pleasure to take my 2nd way,,”

“okay, let’s go then..”

Suddenly, “hey,, don’t enter trough there!!”, said the seller beside the Museum’s gate.. (hehe we wanna enter from the side which is unnormal way to enter-I don’t say forbidden way ;)- it’s coz nearer trough there from the Hospital then the backside-well the right ones is in the BACK not front- but, we canceled it coz we are the good girls, good collegers, good tourists^^well local tourists..hehe and it’s lil bit danger I think. Finally, we entered from the backside).

Monpera (from the Front)

We must pay Rp 2000 for each of us to entered there. Well, I forget to tell that the Building consist of two parts. The 1st is Monpera and The 2nd is Museum Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II. It’s parted in different gates, so if u wanna enter the two of them, u must pay Rp 2000 x 2 >>> Rp 4000 :p for each of you…

1st of all we entered the Monpera.. It consists of many floors so we trough many stairs too that I really hated especially at the upside.. we trough floor by floor by take a look the pictures and stuffs there (and of course take some pictures of us also..^^). We past it till out of the upside building.. The stairs are so extreme there.. and we should opened one of the circle doors (there're 4 circle doors at the roof) which is unlocked at the roof by the stairs (well, after all of us tried it, at the last Intan did it!! She pushed it up.. She is stronger than us ,, hihihi ^^). The 1st thing we saw after the door was opened was the clouds.. hihihihi :D silly,, Well, we could see the Ampera Bridge, Masjid Agung (Agung Mosque), 16 Ilir (traditional market-well maybe going to the modern type ASAP), and many more buildings. We were standing up on the Monpera . It felt like we were flying by the wind… It’ so cool.. And it’s so HIGH too…. I was lil bit afraid actually :’) and the hard part to do after that was “How to get OUT of here????” well, I know the answer’s by go down facing the stairs.. again… need help at the time :(

The Museum SMB II

After visiting the Monpera, we directly went to the Museum SMB II. It’s not so much different from the other Museum, the Museum consists of stuffs like ‘what the special things the city has’, like songket, pempek, etc that I can’t tell one by one coz it’s really really much to tell.. U may take a look there by yourself… It’s not bad idea I think…..

Museum SMB II

Well, it finished at the Museum..

We were all so hungggggryyyyy coz it was 3pm when we checked the time…

We missed our Lunch.. :o

Next,, We ASAP moving on our bodies to the Solaria.. Having Lunch.. :)

note: so sorry if my writing so awkward..  :")
